Building Resilience & Well-Being Through Trauma-Informed Caring

Trauma affects us all. That’s why we need to work together to build resilience in ourselves, our workplaces, and our communities. Our mission is to build trauma-sensitive communities everywhere! Cultivate Resilience started as a locally-driven organization in Southwest Colorado. In 2020, word of mouth quickly spread, and our work is now expanding across the nation.

At Cultivate Resilience (a part of Resilient Colorado®), we partner with schools, businesses, and non-profits to teach them how trauma impacts our brains, bodies, and behaviors. We also provide ongoing consultation support to organizations as they adopt trauma-sensitive practices that foster resilience and improve outcomes for staff, students, families, and clients.

Whether you're a teenager, an adult, a caregiver, a teacher, a business owner, or a professional, we have the perfect workshop for you. Join us either in person or online to learn valuable skills and techniques that will enhance your resilience and well-being.

Feel free to contact us, visit us on Facebook or Instagramsign up for our newsletter, or make a donation!

“Resilient Colorado is the preemptive authority on trauma-informed care in the state of Colorado. No one else brings together this level of cultural competence, rural expertise, and ability to connect local realities to state and national resources."

"Our staff has been through Trauma Informed training before. Doty's presentation was more passionate and clear, and connected additional dots within the trauma-informed approach and service delivery. More trainings from Doty on this subject will be invaluable to our organization and other service providers in the region. "
